RIDE-SHARING INFORMATION:

If you need a ride or would like to offer a ride to the course, please visit our online rideshare board at http://rides.server.dhamma.org/rockies.us. Here you will find rideboards for all courses offered by the Rocky Mountain Vipassana Association. Just follow the instructions to either offer a ride or request a ride.

From the rideboard, you can send email to other participants in your area who need or can offer a ride, or you can add yourself to the list so other people can contact you. No personal contact information is displayed on the page. One can send someone on the list an email with their contact information, but the sender will not see the recipient's email address when they do so. The recipient can choose whether or not to respond. If you need a ride, please check the rideboard regularly to find an updated list of rides offered. Note that many participants may not add themselves to the list until a week or two before the course starts.

Directions To Elbert, CO (JCC Camp)

From Denver and points north of Denver:
- Take I-25 South to the Founders Pkwy exit (exit 184) in Castle Rock.
- Turn left (east) off the ramp and follow Founders Parkway (about 4.5 miles) to Hwy 86 (CO-86).
- Go left (east) on CO-86 toward Franktown.
- Follow CO-86 (about 20.5 miles) through Franktown and Elizabeth and just before entering downtown Kiowa, take a right (south) on Elbert Road/CR-25/CR-41.
- Go 12.3 miles (through and past the town of Elbert) to the JCC Camp on the right (rusted brown sign says "J BAR CC Camp Ranch").
Note: Just before the JCC camp driveway, you will pass Peaceful Valley Boy Scout Camp on the left and Magness Adventure Camp on the right.
- Follow the driveway a short distance to center of camp.

From points South of Castle Rock:
- Take I-25 North to Exit 181 - Wilcox St. / Plum Creek Parkway
- At the Stop sign turn left and you'll be on Wilcox St.
- You will enter downtown Castle Rock.
- Turn right on 5th St.
- 5th St. becomes CO-86.
- Follow CO-86 through Franktown and Elizabeth and just before entering downtown Kiowa, take a right (south) on Elbert Road/CR-25/CR-41.
- Go 12.3 miles (through and past the town of Elbert) to the JCC Camp on the right (rusted brown sign says "J BAR CC Camp Ranch").
